Who are Rakata?

Rakata Technology was started by two friends making their career within CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation). Working on large multi-million dollar IT deals as well as many smaller clients we realised there was a disparity between the qualities of service that corporate clients received compared to that of smaller clients.  Despite the obvious revenue difference we believe there is actually no reason why smaller clients shouldn't receive the same level of professionalism in service that larger clients receive. The basis from which Rakata Technology was founded has yielded many customers from sole traders to the NHS.

Rakata has many customers using our own 'Involve' Ecommerce platform while also writing diagnostic software for the NHS and providing support and virtual helpdesk services to many companies both in the private and public sector. We specialise in Wintel and Unix platforms and write applications depending on the requirements and objectives of our customers in VB.NET, ASP, C#, JAVA & php. Our applications also run on various databases chosen based on customer requirements which include SQL Server, Oracle, Post Gres and My SQL.
