No you don't require any special hardware to use the shop.  You can do everything from your internet connected PC.

No special software is required other than an upto date web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox).

Yes you can add as much customised content as you require.

In order to make your shop as identifiable as possible a specific domain name would be required.  However don't worry if you don't have one, once you have decided on it we can register it for you and take care of everything.

Yes your web designer can take control of the look and feel of the shop and update the content as much as they like.

Rakata will provide a complete setup and training programme only stopping when you are happy and proficient on the shop yourself.

Rakata provide an off-the-shelf template ready to go - however you are not restricted to this and can change this as you see fit.
